Momus (Nick Currie)
Lives in Osaka (Japan).
Known primarily for his avant-garde music, Momus (aka Nick Currie) was born and educated in Scotland. After gaining a degree in English Literature from Aberdeen University, he moved to London and began a career as a songwriter which has seen the release of almost 30 albums in as many years. From the turn of the century he's developed a parallel career as an artist, holding performance shows in galleries and conducting "unreliable tours" of museums and "emotional lectures" in universities.
