Nikita Kadan paints, draws, makes installations and often works interdisciplinarily with architects, sociologists and human rights activists. His work is a critical inquiry into the relationship of Ukrainians today to their Soviet past. Kadan uses history and architecture to lay bare the legacy of the Soviet Union and to examine its impact on recent developments in the Ukraine.
