Spiral consists of found objects that have been carefully arranged into the shape of a spiral. These everyday objects are arranged from big to small, which creates a sense of upward movement. The objects, which differ widely in terms of their appearance and the materials used, are united in a single shape, thus blurring the boundaries between the individual objects. The work dates from 1983, a period in which Anthony Cragg worked predominately with recycled objects. At the root of this was his conviction that all materials are equally valuable and interesting.Add to your list
