He initiates the publishing of the first OHO book, EVA (1966), an anthology of concrete, experimental and visual poetry. Trained as an art historian, Šalamun\r\nworks with OHO as a visual artist in 1968–1970, creating installations with natural materials. Hay, Cornhusks, Bricks (1969), now recreated for the Van Abbemuseum, is first created for the exhibition Great-Grandfathers in Zagreb.
