Halensee
Ensemble
Halensee (Pope of) is a fictional figure first used by Paul Van Ostayen (Ostaijen) and appropriateb by Jef Lambrecht for the 'canonization of Vincent van Gogh' and related activities - it became a information brochure and reference to varios other works.
The name is derived from the lake (Halensee) near Belin where Van Ostayen lived in the 20's, and was at that time site of a popular Lunapark - presumably the origin of the name used by the Pope who later excommunicate Josstens from the "holy cubistic an fleministic (?) church"
