Het verhaal evolueert dus: een deel van de reeds opgestelde werken blijft en wordt gehergroepeerd met \u0026lsquo;nieuw\u0026rsquo; werk, waardoor de collectie en het eerder getoonde werk weer anders kunnen worden gelezen. Waar er in de eerste presentatie veel ruimte was voor de eerder conceptueel gekleurde kern van de collectie \u0026ndash; de werken uit de Stichting Gordon Matta-Clark waarvan er vele voor de eerste keer in jaren werden bovengehaald \u0026ndash; begint de focus met de nieuwe keuze naar de meer visueel ingestelde (schilder)kunst te verschuiven.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"line-height:1.6\"\u003eDe beweeglijkheid van de collectiepresentatie wordt ook mooi ge\u0026iuml;ncarneerd door de wijze van tentoonstellen van het werk van Michelangelo Pistoletto. Divisione e moltiplicazione dello specchio (1978) wordt traditioneel opgesteld in een hoek van een kamer, waardoor de beide spiegelhelften in een hoek van 90\u0026deg; ten opzichte van elkaar komen te staan. Op die manier weerspiegelen ze elkaar elk \u0026eacute;\u0026eacute;n keer en hetzelfde geldt voor de kamer en de objecten en mensen die zich in die kamer bevinden. De vermenigvuldiging blijft in die positie dus beperkt tot een verdubbeling, een splitsing in twee die gelijkstaat aan een vermenigvuldiging met factor twee. Voor de kunstenaar is de splitsing van een spiegel en het elkaar reflecteren van de delen echter een metafoor voor het ontstaan van het heelal: dat begon als niets en vermenigvuldigde zich met factor oneindig door splitsing. Daarom wordt het beeld sterker als de spiegel kan evolueren van nul naar oneindig: van geen spiegeling en dus geen vermenigvuldiging van elkaar in een \u0026lsquo;hoek\u0026rsquo; van 180\u0026deg;, over twee zelfreflecties naar vier enzovoort, naarmate de hoek waarin de beide helften worden geplaatst, kleiner wordt. Daarom werd met de kunstenaar overeengekomen dat het M HKA Divisione e moltiplicazione dello specchio kan tonen op twee verplaatsbare wanden, die bij elke tentoonstellingsperiode in een kleinere hoek zullen worden geplaatst.\u003c/span\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eNaast werk van onder anderen Daniel Buren, Jimmie Durham, Donald Judd, Mark Manders, Gordon Matta-Clark, Allan McCollum,
