In some works, he highlights particular animal behaviours to reflect on how we live as human beings, from the way we repro­duce or exercise power to the way we occupy territory.\u0026nbsp;\u003c/span\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"color:hsl(0,0%,0%);\"\u003eEspecially for M HKA, the artist has created a site-specific installation con­sisting of a mural and a new series of drawings. Lázaro Matos was inspired by the absurd images of crocodiles lurking in urban gardens or conservatories after being forced away from their swamp or river by a natural disaster. Lázaro Matos liet zich inspireren door de absurde beelden van krokodillen die zich verschansen in stedelijke tuinen of veranda’s, nadat ze vanwege een na­tuurramp hun moeras of rivier hebben moeten verlaten. Lázaro Matos s’est inspiré des images absurdes de crocodiles qui se retranchant dans des jardins urbains ou des vérandas après avoir dû quitter leur marécage ou leur rivière à la suite d’une catastrophe naturelle.
