De oorspronkelijke werken werden gemaakt vanuit het idee dat het in de toekomst alleen maar beter kon worden. Helaas blijkt dat 43 jaar later niet het geval en is de confrontatie nog sterker geworden door de onafgebroken stroom van informatie.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eOp de ene zeefdruk zien we een luxueuze villa met een groot zwembad, het toppunt van de overvloed in de Westerse samenleving. Onder deze zeefdruk wordt een afbeelding getoond van wat mogelijks een militaire ingreep is in Vietnam. In 1972 vonden verschillende militaire acties plaats in het land dat al sinds 1955 leed onder de Vietnam oorlog.\u0026nbsp;Deze oorlog werd gevoerd tussen Noord-Vietnam, dat gesteund werd door de Sovjet-Unie, China en enkele andere communistische bondgenoten, en Zuid-Vietnam, dat gesteund werd door de Verenigde Staten en andere anticommunistische bondgenoten.\u0026nbsp;Tussen 1962 en 1973 was er wijdverspreid protest tegen de oorlog en in 1973 verlieten de Amerikaanse troepen het land.
