The atmosphere of the earth is\u0026nbsp;influenced by four\u0026nbsp;phenomena: gravity, the rotation of the planet which\u0026nbsp;carries with it the air, the sun which adds during the day large quantities\u0026nbsp;of radiation energy, and the\u0026nbsp;manipulation of man. By means of the\u0026nbsp;energy borrowed from the sun, changes in the atmosphere in the occur\u0026nbsp;through heating and cooling in the transitions from\u0026nbsp;day to night and\u0026nbsp;vice-versa. Wind occurs because of the convection movements between\u0026nbsp;cold and warm air. Only through the sequence of day and night and the\u0026nbsp;movement of the atmosphere does man notice that the earth is constantly\u0026nbsp;in movement. Man experiences the air as it was the only “natural”\u0026nbsp;environment on this\u0026nbsp;earth.\u0026nbsp;\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn this project the air is manipulated and artificially put in\u0026nbsp;movement. No use is made of materials that are traditionally considered\u0026nbsp;as being properly artistic, instead\u0026nbsp;an environment which stands for\u0026nbsp;“nothing” is used. The environment itself of man is manipulated. The air\u0026nbsp;one experiences as necessary for life is re-contextualised.\u0026nbsp;This\u0026nbsp;project is an attempt to use in an artistic way the relation of\u0026nbsp;man and his experiences of an environment in movement. The project\u0026nbsp;is not a form of representation. The public has to submit to the forces,\u0026nbsp;to experience them themselves. De lucht rondom ons\u0026nbsp;is constant in beweging. De dampkring van de aarde wordt beïnvloed door\u0026nbsp;vier\u0026nbsp;verschijnselen: de zwaartekracht, de rotatie van de planeet die de lucht\u0026nbsp;meeneemt, de zon die gedurende de dag grote hoeveelheden stralingsenergie\u0026nbsp;toevoegt, en de manipulatie van de mens. Door de energie, die aan de zon\u0026nbsp;wordt ontleend, ontstaat er verandering in de dampkring door verwarming\u0026nbsp;en\u0026nbsp;afkoeling bij het overgaan van dag in nacht. Wind ontstaat door convectiebewegingen\u0026nbsp;tussen de koude en warme luchtlagen.\u0026nbsp;Slechts door het spel van\u0026nbsp;dag en nacht en de beweging van de dampkring\u0026nbsp;merkt de mens dat de aarde bestendig in beweging is. De mens ondergaat de\u0026nbsp;lucht die zich manifesteert als een\u0026nbsp;“natuurlijke” leefwereld op deze aarde.\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn het project wordt de lucht gemanipuleerd en op artificiële wijze in\u0026nbsp;beweging gebracht. Er wordt geen gebruik gemaakt van wat men doorgaans\u0026nbsp;beschouwt als als\u0026nbsp;artistiek geëigende materie, maar van een omgeving die staat\u0026nbsp;voor het “niets”. De leefwereld zelf van de mens wordt gemanipuleerd. De lucht\u0026nbsp;die men als\u0026nbsp;levensnoodzakelijk ondergaat wordt gebruikt in een nieuwe context.\u0026nbsp;In dit project wordt getracht de relatie van de mens met wat hij ondergaat\u0026nbsp;als een omhulsel in\u0026nbsp;beweging artistiek aan te wenden. Het project is geen vorm\u0026nbsp;van uitbeelding. Het publiek moet de krachten ondergaan, ze zelf ervaren.
