In the artist’s archive two\u0026nbsp;similar boxes were found – the remains of a tryout and a remake. Yet these\u0026nbsp;are clearly exceptions; very few artefacts remain of his performances and\u0026nbsp;installations. For Roelandt, art was always a performance, a temporary event,\u0026nbsp;whose remains only have documentary value. Son héritage contenait deux boîtes comparables – les restes d’un try-out et d’un remake. Il est remarquable qu’il les avait conservés – contrairement à beaucoup d’autres matériaux de performances et d’installations. Pour Roelandt, l’art était toujours une forme de performance, un événement temporaire dont ce qui en reste n’a que une valeur documentaire.
