When Grapheus\u0026#39; son injures guests with a knife in tavern \u0026#39;De Drij Reepkens\u0026#39; in the Korte Gasthuisstraat in 1616-17, his fellow guildsmen put money together to compensate the victims. In 1620, De Vos portrayed him in the painting shown here as Dean of the guild, in full regalia, the upper body covered with \u0026lsquo;breuken\u0026rsquo;, a chain with silver plates. Wanneer Grapheus\u0026rsquo; zoon in 1616\u0026ndash;17 in taverne De Drij Reepkens in de Korte Gasthuisstraat gasten verwondt met een mes, leggen zijn kunstbroeders geld samen om de slachtoffers te vergoeden. In 1620 portretteert Cornelis de Vos hem in het hier getoonde schilderij als deken van de gilde, in vol ornaat, het bovenlichaam met breuken bedekt.
