Literary synopsis

One day in the terrible twentieth century, the young Donald Servotte realises that his true calling is not to be found in school. In a revelation he envisions his future: he sneaks out of the classroom and begins his quest for a princess to get married to. A compromising photo in the pocket of one of his classmates provides him with starting capital. But goddess Fortuna doesn't seem to be too fond of Donald. Time and again the blows of fate descend on him. Donald's odyssey into husbandry is as scabious and bizarre as the jokes so eagerly told in this novel.
