Florette Dijkstra (b. 1963) is a Dutch writer and artist. In her work, she searches for figures that have been forgotten or have vanished from art history. In 1992, Dijkstra started the Marlow Moss project, a long-term investigation into the life and oeuvre of the artist. It is a reconstruction project in which she makes scalemodels (1:2) of Moss' work based on images from catalogues and rare works she found in art collections. The reconstructions form an image catalogue that make it possible to trace the line of development in the work. In addition to the reconstructions themselves, Dijkstra also published a book about her research into Moss.
