26 - 28.04.1980 This action in Liège assumed a more political and publicized nature. ORLAN’s performance was solicited by a neighborhood association that was campaigning to protect a square under threat due to lack of a development project. Over a four-day period, ORLAN physically committed herself to this cause. She called on a bulldozer, the very machine used to demolish the square, to carry the ORLAN-Body - like rubble - from one spot to another.
