Als ge tegen een tafelpoot botste trok dat zichzelf omhoog en hop ... tot op tafel! Die rupsband greep zich vast aan alles wat maar kon. Dat werkte heel goed voor in de bergen. Om te draaien ging dat vliegensvlug, ge liet een knop los en dat reageerde direct. Wat wilt ge, met die kracht op die rupsbanden! En stoppen deed het ook automatisch, want de overbrenging was zo groot, dat die tank niet kon bewegen wanneer de motor niet draaide. Zo'n tank met rupsen werkt in ieder geval veel beter dan die sneeuwscooters met ski's onder, want die tank kan alles aan, ook rotsen en zo.\u003c/i\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn het kader van de tentoonstellingsreeks \u003ci\u003eFurk'Art\u003c/i\u003e werd de bergtank in 1989 tentoongesteld op dezelfde locatie waar hij werd ontworpen.
