The artist constantly calls his own artistic practice into question.  For 'Untitled', he takes on 'painting' itself.  The collection, treatment and reworking of elements from daily life, and giving them their own spot on the canvas formed its basis.  Tordoir treated found objects with black latex paint, thus neutralizing the respective elements into forms that he manually copied onto canvas. Het verzamelen, handelen, verwerken van elementen uit het leven die een plek vinden op het canvas werd de basis. Gevonden objecten behandelde Tordoir met zwarte latexverf die de afzonderlijk elementen neutraliseerden tot vormen die hij handmatig kopieerde op het canvas. Door de originele objecten ernaast te positioneren, ontstaat er een realiteit en een afbeelding van die realiteit.
