Lala Rukh’s artworks reflect not only her political and feminist activism and her work as a teacher, but also her deep connection with nature and the landscape. Through series of seascapes from across South Asia, Rukh explores the tranquillity and the ever-changing nature of water. Beruwela X captures the flowing rhythms of the Sri Lankan coastline in a single image.

The M HKA Ensembles represent our first steps towards initiating the public to today's art-related digital landscape. With the help of these new media, our aim is to offer our artworks a better and fuller array of support for their presentation and public understanding.
