Le tapis sur le sol représente, comme tant d’éléments dans les œuvres de Nkanga, un minerai. Posée au centre de la salle, la pièce est aussi centrale dans son œuvre. À cet endroit, les gens peuvent se réunir et c’est aussi là qu’ils seront invités à se rassembler pendant les performances. Nkanga a conçu le projet et l’a fait réaliser par un fabricant industriel de tapis.
