Project Coloration Bonaparte Dock Antwerp
1974
Intervention
Materials: Dia positives
Collection: Collectie ICC Antwerpen (Inv. no. AVM/DIA/79-193 tot AVM/DIA/79-327).
In 1968, at the Venice Biennial, Nicolás Uriburu used a biologically innocuous liquid to color the Canal Grande in Venice green. This action was the first of many colorings of different waters across the globe, including this coloring of the Bonaparte dock in Antwerp, which took place in 1974 and was organized by the ICC.
