Item: Snake Eyes!
2006
Collage, 125 x 81 cm.
Materials: collage, wood
Collection: Collection of Mima and César Reyes, Puerto Rico.
In Snake Eyes! objects (or pieces of objects) stuck to a wooden panel are accompanied by short text fragments revealing us hints of a story. This combination of words and things builds a non-linear narrative that we can read through the composition of the panel. At the same time, Durham’s words seems to, in the opposite direction, justify the presence of all these elements.
