Une toile avec des réflecteurs en acier inoxydable d’Hermann Goepfert. Une composition avec des surfaces en miroir de Christian Megert. Une sculpture en torsion de Walter Leblanc. Contrairement à ses collègues, Jef Verheyen n’utilise ni miroirs, ni verre, ni acier. Il peint à l’huile sur de la toile de jute et, en tant que peintre, s’en tient aux deux dimensions de la toile. Pourtant, ces œuvres ont un point commun : elles sont en dialogue constant avec la lumière. Jef Verheyen et les artistes ZERO vous invitent à ne pas rester sur place mais, au contraire, à vous déplacer devant leurs créations afin d’activer la lumière et l’espace et de faire vous-même partie de l’œuvre.
