A collection of these pieces consists of objects and drawings that are difficult to grasp, requiring the viewer to let them slowly seep in, like in a meditative process.  Formally, he balances his drawings between the constructivist aspect of his time and in-vogue minimalism, where the focus is on the creative process along with the inherent field of tension between idea and execution.\r\n\r\nHeyvaert's work is restrained and sober.  It may be described as a fundamental formalism that testifies to an unusual simplicity whereby the artist directs his attention towards the material that mirrors its position in real life.  The borders determine the form, the functionality, the beauty.  René Heyvaert aims to evoke an experience that is best described as 'being in the moment itself'.\r\n"},{"locale":"nl","short_description":"","description":"Deze papieren collage is onderdeel van het efemere oeuvre van de kunstenaar en architect René Heyvaert. Een bundel van werk bestaande uit objecten en tekeningen die moeilijk te grijpen zijn en zich traag op de toeschouwer laten inwerken als een meditatief proces. Vormelijk balanceren zijn tekeningen tussen het constructivistische van zijn tijd en het in zwang geraakte minimalisme, waarbij de focus lag op het creatieve proces en het daarbij horende spanningsveld tussen idee en uitvoering.\r\n\r\nHeyvaerts werk is ingetogen en sober. Het kan worden omschreven als een fundamenteel formalisme dat getuigt van een ongebruikelijke eenvoud waarmee de kunstenaar de aandacht vestigt op het materiaal waarmee hij  zijn positie in het leven weerspiegelt. De grenzen bepalen de vorm, de functionaliteit de schoonheid. René Heyvaert tracht een beleving op te roepen die het best te omschrijven is als *‘in het moment zelf zijn’*."},{"locale":"fr","short_description":"","description":""},{"locale":"ru","short_description":"","description":""},{"locale":"de","short_description":"","description":""},{"locale":"es","short_description":"","description":""},{"locale":"el","short_description":"","description":""}],"actors":[{"id":54,"name":"René Heyvaert","category":{"en":"Creator","nl":"Vervaardiger","fr":"Créateur"}}]}
